Scope of Service:
1. . Description of Service Capacity Planning
The main objectives of the service are on the one hand, to accompany the teams as part of SFR deployment strategy / planning / engineering NG DWDM network and also to accompany the teams SFR in the acquisition ofautonomy in achieving Service Capacity planning in late 2012
Huawei meets these objectives by offering the following activities:
• Support of SFR in the implementation of engineering rules
• Support for the SFR Management Planning Network (infrastructure, budget)
• Support SFR for the development of a predictive point of view capacitive and budgetary
• Support for the SFR followed by implementation networks
2. Support of SFR in the implementation of the rules of engineering / design
• Support the definition of engineering rules
o Type of equipment (cards, chassis, node, services)
o Protection / restoration / network resilience
o Planning Tool via MDS 6600
• Technical assistance related to the use of the software MDS 6600 in a “design engineering”
o Simulations of evolution occurs,
o Simulations of new features,
o Simulation of migration from legacy networks
• Proposals for changes in network architecture
o such migration 320G/1600G NG WDM network
o Adding a new card / module NG WDM
3. Capacity planning support IP SFR BB
• Technical assistance related to the use of the software MDS 6600 in a “Capacity planning”
o Integration of customer needs, traffic, capacitive planned deployments
o Simulations of nominal load in case of failure,
• Proposed changes NG WDM network capacity to meet growth
• Definition of needs and capacitive NG WDM associated encryption for fiscal (budget, news, BP)
• Monthly monitoring of filling of the infrastructure deployed NG WDM (statistics and utilization
4. Support of Detailed engineering DOCF SFR
• Establishment of processes for the integration of the tool in our work methods.
• Participation in studies and detailed engineering services to produce and axes (support for the lifting of pre-requisites (fiber / hosting / DCN / Hardware))
• Technical assistance related to the use of the software MDS 6600 in a “detailed engineering”
o Establishment of service
o Reservation of resources
• Automatic generation of BOM list for RFQ NG WDM
• Booking, allocation and release of resources NG WDM
• Establishment of the new design of the DCR in the NG WDM (frequency plan)
Responsibilities include but, not limited to:
1. Engineering Design Deliverables
• Analysis Report: (Ex: Adding maps)
2. Available Capacity Planning
• Analysis Report:
o Network Evolution
o Fiscal year
• Monthly monitoring of utilization statistics (links, channels, card slot and filters)
• Procedure to achieve specific Capacity Planning of MDS
3. Detailed engineering deliverables
• Analysis Report:
o Establishment of service
o Listing Service
o Frequency Plan
