I'm recruiting for Field Services Operations Manager to oversee the technical delivery of all field service activities across the UK. Experienced in delivering and managing field-services within the Telecommunications industry. By managing of multiple field-based services, including Construction, I&C, FLM and Drive Testing services. Full time role flexible working office and home based.

Responsibility:

Oversee the technical delivery of all field service activities across the UK. Govern and support partner organisations delivering field services into Connect44. Drive business development of field service offerings within the Connect44 UK business.

General

  • Management of multiple field-based services, including Construction, I&C, FLM and Drive Testing services.
  • Assistance with recruitment where applicable.
  • Co-ordination and management of resources within respective projects.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance in accordance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, closely working with H&S Manager to achieve this.
  • Interface into Service Delivery and Technical teams with respect to project risks and issues.
  • POC for customer representatives associated to the technical delivery of the services.
  • Oversee partner organisations responsible for the delivery of outsourced services, e.g. field delivery teams, warehousing & logistics, equipment and tooling etc.
  • Identify continuous improvement activities to drive improvement in SLA achievement with the Operations environment
  • Attend and participate in internal and customer operational review meetings.
  • Assist with new business development via ongoing client relationships and technical knowledge, supporting RFI / RFP processes as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in delivering and managing field-services within the Telecommunications industry
  • Relationship management
    • Ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience of working with multi cultural teams
    • Must be able to build the trust of customers in challenging and changing circumstances
  • Leadership
    • Proven expertise in delivering service and process improvement activities within a complex service delivery environment.
    • Experience of management of third party relationships.
