We are looking for a Junior Radio Optimisation Technician

We are looking for Radio Planning and Optimization Engineers, with different levels of experience, to unite efforts to the existing Connect44 Iberia team in its brand new office in Málaga. The upcoming challenges that our customers are facing require the addition of extra talent to the team. Customer interaction, cutting-edge technology challenges, and top telco customers will be your new routine business day. Concretely, we are looking for 3 different engineering profiles to design, deploy, optimize and accept Wireless telecommunications node/cluster/network (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G), as well as to be part of the process of continuous improvement of the service provided.


  • High and low level design knowledge
  • Neighbors, frequencies and parameters planning required for new sites, swap, upgrade or cell/site band expansions covering all technologies (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G)
  • Sites and Clusters KPI analysis report generation including root cause analysis including optimization proposals to achieve the expected KPIs targets according to scope.
  • BSC/RNC/eNodeb/gNodeb and cell level parameters audit and optimization.
  • Generate and present Cluster acceptance reports.
  • Large scale multi-technology and multi-vendor site monitoring
  • Monitoring reports design and generation (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) including quality statistical KPI reports
  • Level 1 operation support activities including initial analysis and adherence to the forwarding process when needed
  • Detailed Level 2 root cause analysis related to RF KPIs degradations
  • Multi-technology troubleshooting activities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Planning tools proficiency is a plus
  • Tasks Automation proficiency is a plus
  • Proficiency in OSS and optimisation tools is a plus
  • High Spanish and English competency level (spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical reporting and presentation skills
  • Team and result-oriented mindset
  • Openness to face new challenges, propose process improvements and willingness to learn new cutting-edge technologies.
  • Able to work in shifts to cover all daily hours (may not be required depending on individual scope)
