Contract Role - 2 Months plus

On behalf of our client, a well-known Swiss Company, we are looking for a Power BI Report Developer, to support their project in Zurich - Switzerland

The Role:

The main function of the Power BI Report Developer is to design, develop and implement reports & dashboards that support Risk Management and Risk Management IT in their quarterly & annual steering processes.

You will work closely with colleagues from both units, ideally on-site in our Client's offices in Zurich

Design, development and implement reports & dashboards in Power BI

Define data requirements and business rules, perform logical and physical data modeling as well as data integration together with the respective subject matter experts.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 2 -4 years experience with Power BI and data integration
• Experience in extracting data from Azure DevOps Projects and combining it in visualization tools such as Power BI
• Experience in working with datasets stemming from different sources (Azure DevOps, Excel, SharePoint etc.)
• Experience in developing logical/physical data models for operational reports & dashboards in a way that they can easily be maintained and enhanced
• Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures, interest in understanding the process end-to-end
• Ability to visualize data in a meaningful and intuitive manner
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and in agile environment; demonstrate initiative, analytical and curious mindset
• Fluent in English
