Radio Design Engineer

Role Description:

Radio Network design engineer familiar with indoor DAS design as well as outdoor Macro and micro sites within the scope of integrations, swaps, and upgrades.

Knowledge:

• Solid knowledge and proven work experience in radio network Planning both indoor and outdoor with different planning tools (iBwave, Planet …).
• Profound understanding of Radio access technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR) including both coverage planning (Link budget, Noise Calculations, etc) and Capacity Planning.
• Broad understanding of transport technologies.
• Broad understanding of access technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Indoor DAS Coverage design design (for (office) buildings/tunnels/stadiums/large public indoor locations/etc.).
• Outdoor Coverage Design (both Macro and Micro).
• Capacity planning to fulfill quality KPI’s in busy areas.
• Hardware Configuration Specification.
• Baseband Configuration Design.
• Site Survey analysis and validation.
• Calculating RF exposure using I.C.N.I.R.P. Specifications and validating Antenna/DAS system designs from Health & Safety perspective.
• Solution Design & Indoor Solution Price Quotation for Bids/B2B Solutions.
