(SC Cleared) OSS IBM Netcool Engineer

I'm recruiting for a (SC Cleared) OSS IBM Netcool Engineer. To creating new and maintain developed Unix scripting, and test Cases to execute. With good Knowledge of IP discovery, OSS/NMS applications, Omnibus, Probes, Gateways, Impact, TCR, JASS/DASH/NOI, Watson AI OPS. Based in Newbury (UK ONLY) Daily rate DOE.

Key responsibilities

• Development implementation and deploying to meet business needs as per design.
• Creating Design documents
• IBM Netcool component installation, setup and device connectivity with multi-tier environment.
• Creating new and maintaining developed Perl, ASL or Unix scripting
• Creating Test Cases and executing them.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Creating and maintaining documentations
• Provide technical analysis, debugging and problem-solving skills

Key Skills/Knowledge

• Associate must be Security Check Cleared (SC Cleared) as per UK government guidelines
• Hands on experience in IBM Netcool Suite/ AIOps
• Experience on any other OSS Service Assurance tool
• Good Knowledge of IP discovery, Fault and Performance Experience in business-critical OSS/NMS applications.
• Excellent Experience on Omnibus, Probes, Gateways, Impact, TCR, JASS/DASH/NOI, Watson AI OPS.
• Extensively worked on Linux Operating System
• Extensive scripting experience (Probe rules and Impact policy)
• Experienced with Netcool integration with Ticketing system/Inventory management system/Fault Management system
• Experienced with software upgrade and installation of IBM Netcool components
• Basic understanding of Network types, protocols and ports.
• IBM Netcool/OMNI bus V8.1 User/Admin course or equivalent experience, Certification on Netcool 8.1 will be good to have
• Telecom domain & FCAPS knowledge
