We are looking for a Service Desk Engineer – Portuguese native speaker

The Service Desk Engineer we are looking for will join an existing NOC (Network Operation Center) team responsible for ensuring the proper execution of an incident management process of a big telco firm in the Iberian market. For this 24/7 position, you need to combine both technical and communicative skills. You will be considered an extension of a remote operational team located in Europe as part of the division based in Málaga.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Triage of technical incidences to trigger its resolution.
  • Out-of-the-Box thinking is necessary to improve resolution processes
  • Able to adapt to the team needs. The project is ongoing in several countries and your help might be needed to support (occasionally) them. Always from Málaga.
  • Remotely coordinate with the operational team to proactively solve all issues.
  • Daily customer communication.
  • Understanding of the Incident Management process.
  • Rotating shifts to cover a 24/7 service

Key Qualifications:

  • Telecommunication knowledge is valuable but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
  • Responsability and professionalism. Willingness to learn.
  • High levels of Portuguese, Spanish, and English is required
  • High communication skills. Customer-first mentality.
  • Familiar with NOC activities.
