Transmission Engineer

Job requirements:

• Transmission project support, maintenance and troubleshooting, Huawei transport product and technical solution development &implementation.
• Transmission network architecture design, technical requirement clarification and customer training.
• Help customers to build transmission network with availability and functionality to achieve their business goals.
• Planning and execution of DWDM&SDH transmission tests
• Interface with customers, perform customer demo and POC testing
• Domestic travel for business support may be required

Work experience:

• 3 to 5 years working experience in large-scale transmission networks, be proficient in SDH, WDM and OTN principles;
• With transmission network analysis and troubleshooting capabilities, strong business sensitivity, Internet or carrier operator related background preferred.
• Be familiar with optical communications products and technologies, main vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, Ciena and Nokia.
• Be good at learning, challenging and forward-looking in technical, understanding of transmission domain about DWDM backbone network and DCI(data center interconnection) technology is preferred
• Learn about IP networks and TCP/IP protocols as basic knowledge.
• Have good communication and coordination skills, careful thinking, good customer service awareness and teamwork spirit
