Connect44 brings solid expertise in building telecom towers across Germany. We are currently working on projects in partnership with some of Europe’s largest tower companies, developing exciting chapters in our story. Our experienced on-site teams handle telecom tower construction of all sizes, including towers up to 50 meters high.

From Planning to Action
Every tower has its story. The process begins with a collaborative kick-off session, where our team joins our client’s representatives to align on expectations, technical details, and safety standards. This creates the foundation of trust and clarity that sets the stage for construction.

Once planning is complete, we move quickly into site preparation. Clearing, securing, and establishing the groundwork ensures everything is ready for the next stage. It’s here that the invisible effort behind a project begins to take shape, paving the way for visible progress.

Building the Structure

The transition from preparation to construction is a milestone in itself. Our colleagues carry out foundation work and build the outdoor facility. This includes:

·       Removing topsoil and root balls of felled trees

·       Constructing temporary access to the excavation pit and foundation

·       Building the excavation pit and installing a ring earthing system

·       Laying the foundation cushion according to the geotechnical report

·       Installing the subbase layer of lean concrete (C12/15)

·       Constructing the mast foundation slab with reinforcement and the foundation earthing system

·       Building the mast base and reinforcing the four corner post foundations

·       Preparing formwork for the corner post foundations, then concreting and stripping once dry

·       Backfilling the excavation pit to just below the corner posts and preparing formwork for the system technology foundations

·       Constructing the outdoor facility, including traffic routes and fencing

Once the foundations are in place, the steel lattice mast is assembled. Pre-assembled by our trusted partners, the mast sections are carefully lifted and secured on-site using a powerful 160-ton mobile crane. Every joint, bolt, and alignment is checked meticulously, ensuring the 50-meter-high structure meets the highest safety and quality standards.
